I’ve known Reinette and Austin for a long time. The three of us went to school in the same small town and spent our summers lifeguarding at the city pool and at the YMCA together. In fact, these two were one of the first couples I had a chance to photograph when I was just starting out. I’m so excited they’re getting married!!!
This couple loves the scenery of Colorado and wanted their session to feel a little different than it would had we taken these pictures in Nebraska. I knew just the place to take them where I knew there’d be snow and a beautiful view: Watson Lake near Laporte, Colorado. When we started the session, there was a snow/rain mix. You can see it falling in a few of the earlier photos. As the afternoon progressed, it cleared up and we were left with beautiful weather!
I’m so excited these two are engaged and I can’t wait for their wedding in May!
