I love the Tetons. Any chance I can get to shoot out there, especially a wedding, I take. Even though I shoot in the Rockies all the time, there’s just something different about the Tetons and Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Beth actually contacted me about shooting her wedding before we realized we only live about 20 minutes away from one-another in Colorado. That made is really easy on us to do an engagement session for them as well! I can tell that Beth and Zack are best friends just from the two small amounts of time I spent with them. They just seem to fit together perfectly!

Getting ready:

Their wedding day was an absolute dream. Beth got ready in a little cottage where she was able to hang out by the water with her friends and family that morning. They ate lunch, laughed, talked, and just enjoyed being together. Zack got ready with his best man at the Alpine House down the road. Their first look under a weeping willow tree (my absolute favorite kind of tree) was so sweet! Not only that, but the majority of their engagement photos were taken by a willow as well, so it just seemed to fit! We took a few photos there, then headed out to get some epic photos with that Teton backdrop!

I love the variety we were able to get in their wedding photos! Not only were we able to get the Tetons in a ton of their photos, we also were able to get some nice trees, a stream, and just some good green pasture land in some photos as well. Once back at the Alpine House later, we got a few photos of them hanging out alone together in front of the reception. I love being able to give my couples so much variety with different sets of photos!

Ceremony and reception:

Their ceremony and reception back at the Alpine House had the perfect garden party feel and they were able to really spend quality time hanging out and chatting with all their guests. Their dinner was amazing and the cupcakes were equally as good! They spent their time talking, dancing, and just hanging out with their family and friends. It was a beautiful day and I absolutely love that I got to capture it!
