Aubrie and Andrew’s wedding was exactly the wedding I wanted to end my season with. I loved everything about their wedding! Their wedding took place at Camp Solaris just outside of Lincoln, a place they’ve both worked together in the summers. Since Andrew is going into camp ministry, it was the perfect fit for them to get married at a summer camp! The weather we got that day was absolutely perfect. While we were cold, the snow was everything I dream for on a wedding day. I just love the way snow looks in photos, even if we do have to freeze to get it!

Getting ready:

Aubrie spent her morning with her closest girls, listening to worship music as she got ready to walk down the aisle. Meanwhile, just across the lawn, Andrew and his groomsmen were hanging out, drinking coffee as he prepared to see his bride for the first time walking down the aisle.

One of my favorite moments of the day was when Aubrie’s sister, who wasn’t supposed to be able to make it to the wedding, showed up to surprise her. It was so sweet and I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room! It’s these kind of moments that make me want to work harder for all my couples, just to capture those little moments in between all the craziness on a wedding day.

The ceremony:

Finally it came time for the ceremony, when Aubrie and Andrew got to see each other for the first time. Upon walking down the aisle, the groomsmen were able to pray over Andrew, and the bridesmaids likewise with Aubrie. They said their vows and promised each other all their time on this earth. It was a beautiful ceremony!

The snow got heavier and heavier throughout the day and by the time we got to portraits, it felt like a full on blizzard. Nonetheless, we got some gorgeous photos! I’m so excited for Aubrie and Andrew and I wish them all the best as Mr. and Mrs. Petts!
