Wild Basin Lodge Wedding >> Trent and Kara definitely had Mother Nature on their side for their wedding day. Seriously, it could not have been more perfect! That morning, it looked like there might be some rain, wind, and overcast skies off and on. With an outdoor ceremony and a plan to do portraits with that gorgeous mountain backdrop, that can definitely be an issue!

It was super windy, but sunny in the morning. By the time we were ready for portraits, it was perfectly overcast and the wind died down. It stayed that way, until right before the ceremony when the sun came out as the bridal party so appropriately walked down the aisle to “Here Comes The Sun.” After the ceremony, everyone was able to grab their drinks from the llama bartenders, and we signed the marriage license outside. The couple just finished signing when the wind and rain came up with force. It poured all through dinner, but then stopped again just in time for Trent and Kara to have their first dance outside. I’m absolutely in awe of the way the Lord orchestrates wedding days perfectly over and over again!!

Trent and Kara are the kind of couple that when you see them together, you can just see the love. The way they both look at each other, it’s so beautiful! They’re truly each other’s best friend and they completely treat each other as equals. I don’t even totally know how to describe it, but it’s just amazing to watch!
