Junto Wine Wedding

There’s something so special about April weddings in Nebraska. The first hints of green returning to the trees, warmer evenings finally arriving, and the excitement of a new season beginning. Katie and Joey’s wedding day was the perfect reflection of that fresh spring feeling, filled with joyful moments, timeless details, and the sweetest celebration surrounded by family and friends.

As a Nebraska photographer, spring weddings always feel especially meaningful after a long winter, and this day at Junto Wine near Seward, Nebraska was no exception.

Katie and Joey were married in a beautiful church ceremony in Lincoln, Nebraska before heading out to Junto Wine for their reception. The timing of their wedding couldn’t have been more perfect. The countryside had just started turning green, creating the dreamiest soft spring backdrop for photos. The vines, open fields, and peaceful atmosphere at Junto Wine made every part of the evening feel relaxed and romantic. Once everyone was safely tucked away in the venue, a massive storm came up with sudden downpour, which brought a lot of excitement to the evening!

One of my favorite details from the day was the wedding party color palette. The bridesmaids wore gorgeous blue dresses paired with blush and cream florals that complemented the soft spring scenery so beautifully. Everything felt classic, elegant, and effortless in the best way.

Their reception at Junto Wine was filled with heartfelt speeches, laughter, and so much excitement from everyone celebrating alongside them. One of the things I loved most about their wedding day was how intentional it felt. Every part of the day centered around simply being together and celebrating with the people they love most.
