I've always loved the little babies, but ever since having my own tiny person, I'm obsessed with helping people preserve their memories in those early days. I realized after my JJ was born how much he changed every day, and it's made me so passionate about making sure families get photos with their brand new babes when they're just tiny little scrunches.
I also found that as a new mom, it was pretty rare to have photos of me WITH my baby, which is why I've taken a lifestyle approach to newborn photography. I want you to remember snuggling on your couch and hanging out in their nursery. My newborn photos are done in the comfort of your home, so you don't have to worry about loading up baby in the car or making sure you packed everything you need.
Most of my clients come to me and say, “we’re nervous about taking photos. We don’t know what to do and we’re awkward in front of a camera.” Making people feel comfortable having their photos taken is my specialty! I give you direction every step of the way, even making the most minor adjustments so you look fabulous in your photos! With your new sweet little bundle, we’ll of course get photos of you smiling at the camera, but we’ll also capture those lifestyle moments of you all snuggling, capture all those tiny details, and help you look back on those early days with sweet memories.
My pricing is straightforward and easy to understand. Everything in one price (no hidden taxes or fees later!)

THINK YOU'LL WANT MORE?
Sounds good! How do we get on your calendar?
After you receive your gallery, you'll have the option to purchase prints, canvases, and other products! No matter what you want, I've got you covered! Don't want to purchase anything? That's fine! Your package includes full resolution digitals, meaning you can print your photos at whatever lab you'd like!
Message me to schedule your session. We'll talk locations, times, and which package will work best for you! I require a 50% retainer to hold your date, which can be paid online!
Your family photos are seriously so important to me! As a photographer, I know that I’m the one who’s responsible for capturing your family’s memories – the baby's wrinkly newborn skin and tiny toes, your oldest’s toothless smile, the way your toddler giggles every time you make that face – those are all things you’ll want to remember. I know that you want to have the absolute best experience and I can help with that!
At the end of it all, looking at your photos should remind you of where your family was in that season of your life. My ultimate goal is capture the moments that are the most important to you, the times you’ll look back on 30 years from now. Your photos are sure to be timeless, classic, and exactly you!
While you should absolutely hire a photographer whose style you love, more importantly, you should also hire someone who is going to put you at ease, bring out your laughter, and someone who you’ll totally be able to be yourself with. I’ll direct you through poses, or if I notice you’re doing your own thing and it looks fantastic, I’ll just photograph what’s naturally happening. Either way, I’ll make you and your family look bomb in your photos!
You’ll walk away not only having had fun, but with beautiful photos you’ll want to print and hang above your fireplace, put on your Christmas card, and share on social media. You’re sure to love them for years to come!

Have Questions? Get Answers.
Q: How long have you been a photographer?
A: I first started photographing things in high school. In fact, my school literally made a class for me and I taught myself from a book. They called it an "independent study." From there, I was hooked! I studied photography in college and got my bachelor's degree in Studio Art with an emphasis in photography. I even had a dark room in my basement for a bit! I started my business full time in 2014.
Q: Where will my session take place?
A: Your newborn session will take place in the comfort of your own home. But don't worry! You don't need to clean the entire house! Choose the room with the best natural light and the most windows.
Q: What kind of equipment do you use?
A: I shoot on a Canon system and currently have two R6's. I use a variety of lenses, but shoot most of my newborn sessions with my 50mm or 28mm!
Q: Do you offer any albums, prints, canvases, etc?
A: Yes! All my prints and canvases are for sale through your gallery after receiving your images. I want you to absolute LOVE what you're buying! Albums can be added in to your package or purchased after your session.
Q: How will I view and download my images?
A: I'll go through your images, weeding out duplicates, out of focus images, and photos with eyes closed. From there, I edited the remaining images and deliver them to you in an online gallery. You can download full resolution digital images, purchase prints, and share you gallery with family and friends!
Q: How will I pay for my session?
Q: What areas of my house will we use?
A: Once you decide you'd like to work with me, you'll receive a contract to sign as well as an invoice for a retainer. The retainer is meant to hold your session date for you and is half of your package. That payment is made online via a bank transfer or credit card. The final payment is due 2 weeks before your due date.
A: I love to use the areas of your home with the most natural light. Usually we end up on mom and dad's bed or in the nursery. If your bedroom is super dark, we'll do those snuggly photos on the couch! I recommend a really light neutral or white bed spread and opening up your curtains and blinds as much as possible. If you want to send me pictures of your house ahead of time, I can let you know what I think will work best!
Q: How do I book you for my newborn photos?
A: Love that question the most! To book me for your photos, simply let me know when your due date is and I'll get it added to my calendar! Once you have your baby, shoot me a message and we'll get an exact date booked. We usually like to do newborn photos within the first two weeks of baby's life.
Yep, it's that easy!
Q: What should we wear?
If you're not sure what to wear for your photos, I would love to help! I have a pinterest board of inspiration I would love to send to you! Usually for newborns I recommend whites, creams, and light colors for parents and siblings. Baby can be in something a little darker or bolder to make them stand out, but I still recommend sticking to neutrals.
I'm so excited to hear about all your family and upcoming new arrival!
