Engaged : Vanessa + Tyler | Rocky Mountain National Park Engagement Session by Greeley, Colorado Wedding Photographer

Vanessa and Tyler’s engagement session was on the most beautiful day we could have asked for. These two drove out to Colorado from central Nebraska for their session with me, because who doesn’t want mountains in their engagement photos? In fact, these two love being in the mountains so much, they chose Keystone as the location for their wedding next year. I get so excited when I am able to serve my Nebraska couples in the beautiful state of Colorado!

I met up with these two in Estes Park, and we drove up into Rocky Mountain National Park together. We hung out around Sprague Lake, where a turkey held up our drive by walking directly in front of the car while we crossed a bridge. We saw some bird watchers who were obsessed with a wood pecker, and we saw a few deer. Then we headed to Morraine Valley, where we really soaked in those mountain views. The mountains are absolutely gorgeous right now! From there, we headed up Trail Ridge Road where we saw a coyote, more deer, another turkey, and toward the top, lots of elk. We took pictures at one of the overlooks, where we could see all the rivers, roads, and ponds in the valley below.

Our last stop was at the top around the tundra. It always surprises me that there’s snow up there, even in the middle of June. Vanessa and Tyler braved the cold wind while we were able to get photos with the snowy mountain all around.

These two are so sweet to one-another, and I had such a great time hanging out with them for an evening. I’m so excited for their wedding here in Colorado in January! I already know it’s going to be beautiful and I can’t wait!
