Breckenridge Wedding Photographer >> Emily Kowlalski Photography – Kristin and Taylor got married in my favorite kind of wedding. They rented a little cabin up in the mountains near Silverthorne, invited only their closest family and friends, and said I do in the middle of an aspen grove.

Getting ready:

They started off their day getting ready in the same house. Kristin and her girls were upstairs while Taylor and his guys were in the basement. Kristin had her hair done as she read over a letter from Taylor and looked out onto the creek. Her bridesmaids helped her into her dress as she prepared for her ceremony.

Meanwhile, Taylor and his groomsmen spent the majority of the morning setting up the ceremony site down the Aspen Creek Trail. When they were finished, they came back to the house where they got dressed and ready for the ceremony.

The ceremony:

Guests had a nice, leisurely 5 minute walk up Aspen Creek Trail. The trees opened up to a beautiful view of the mountains, where Taylor saw his bride for the first time. They laughed and cried through their ceremony, as they said yes to forever.

Their reception was next to a creek running behind their AirBnb. They had long, farmhouse tables and ordered in pizza. There, under the café lights, they had their first dance as husband and wife. Their guests played lawn games, ate to their heart’s content, and danced into the night. It was the sweetest of days!
