Lincoln Wedding Photographer – Emily Kowalski Photography >> Rachel and Connor ended up having the perfect day for their engagement session! Our intentions weren’t to shoot when everything was in bloom, but it just ended up happening. The weather completely cooperated as well. It had rained earlier in the day, but we had the prettiest light at the end of our session and for the most part, we dodged the rain. Not only that, but a tornado ripped through the area the day after, damaging a lot of the buildings not too far from Pioneers Park.
But our evening was a gorgeous one! We found trees with white blooms and pink blooms. The lilac bushes were showing off for us as well! The entire park smelled amazing, and while it was mostly cloudy during our shoot, we ended up with a beautiful sunset to cap our evening. And can we talk about how gorgeous Rachel’s hair is for just a second? The way her hair just popped, I fell in love with every photo! I couldn’t be happier with the way these turned out!
I had so much fun with these two! Connor is a pro at making Rachel laugh and I left feeling liking I had just spend a couple of hours with friends. Te way they interact with each other, you can tell there’s a deeper mutual respect for one-another. It’s just such a joy to be with them! They originally met at church, which is the type of story I can connect with since I met my own husband in a similar way. I love when faith is part of a couple’s story and that’s definitely true for Rachel and Connor! Here I am just counting down the days to their wedding in Council Bluffs next year! I already know that not only will it be a beautiful day, but it will be filled with beautiful people and so much fun!
