Omaha Harvest Community Church Wedding >> What a gorgeous wedding Bekah and TJ had at Omaha Harvest Christian Church. The whole day was absolutely perfect! Bekah got ready at his sister’s apartment, which has this really cool art deco vibe happening. She got ready with her bridesmaids and her mom and sister helped her into her dress. One of my all time favorite photos from this day is Bekah as she walks down the stairs to go see her dad for the first time! I just can’t get over that moment!
I asked Paul, Bekah’s dad, if he was going to cry when he saw her. He assured me that he wouldn’t, because he didn’t want to make her cry. But that moment! That moment just held so much emotion, I was even on the verge of tear! Seriously so beautiful!
We headed to Memorial Park where TJ was anxiously awaiting seeing his bride. As he turned around, you could tell on his face that he absolutely LOVED the way she looked! You couldn’t ask for a better reaction!
The wind tried to get us, but we managed to stay fairly warm tucked back in the trees for the portraits of the two of them together, the bridal party, and finally family. Once we were all finished, we headed to the church where we prepared for the ceremony. But seriously. The inside of this church is just so beautiful! The windows and the original wood- I was kind of obsessed!
Both Bekah and TJ’s dads are pastors, so together they officiated the ceremony. I just love the symbolization that had as they started their marriage! The ceremony was so personal and a beautiful reflection of not only this couple, but Christ’s love for us.
After the ceremony, we headed over to Nebraska Christian College where the most beautiful reception space was waiting with charcuterie boards as the cernterpieces of each table. It was such a unique idea for a dinner and something I can honestly say I’ve never seen done before!
Bekah and TJ were able to sneak out of their reception for about 10 minutes where we capture some amazing sunset photos. These are some of my favorite photos from the wedding day as a whole! I would always recommend a portion of time for some sunset photos if possible!
Overall, these two had a wedding day that was perfect for them in every way possible. They spent their time surrounded by people who love them as they celebrated starting their life together as a married couple.
