Onawa, IA Wedding Photographer >> This session was absolutely everything I had hoped it would be! I’ve had a vision of shooting under this bridge since the first time I saw it upon moving here. I’ve tried to get different couples and people to come here to shoot, but no one could quite see my vision. Honestly, I’ve been trying to photograph here since November! Frankie and Taylor, however, they totally trusted me. They believed in my vision and jumped on it! After having to reschedule two different times, I’m absolutely thrilled it worked out!
We started off our session in Onawa in front of the post office. I’ve noticed the vines on the front and I love the architecture! From there, we walked to the old high school to snap a few before heading to the bridge. This bridge goes from Onawa to Decatur, so it’s the connecting piece between Iowa and Nebraska. Somehow that feels pretty symbolic to me, being from Nebraska originally! We finished up at a third location, a wildlife area near the river. The sunset was gorgeous and everything you’d ever want it to be!
These two just seem like best friends. I know everyone wants to marry their best friend, and for Frankie and Taylor, I think that’s true. They’re so sweet together and I just loved my time with them! I honestly can’t wait for their wedding later this year!
