Capturing Emily and Leo’s Wedding : A Day to Remember at Hastings Evangelical Free Church and Brader County Barn

Brader County Barn Wedding >> I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Emily and Leo’s beautiful wedding day, a celebration that truly reflected their unique personalities and deep love for each other. The day began at Hastings Evangelical Free Church, a venue that provided a serene and spiritual ambiance for their heartfelt ceremony.

The morning was graced with clear blue skies and perfect weather, setting the tone for a joyous day ahead. Emily looked stunning in her elegant gown, and Leo was every bit the dashing groom. The couple’s excitement was palpable, and the love in the air was contagious.

A special moment during the ceremony was when scripture was read in both Chinese and English to reflect the heritage of both the bride and groom. It’s always so special to see different cultures combining.

After the ceremony, we headed to the reception at the picturesque Brader County Barn. This rustic venue was the perfect backdrop for the festivities. The barn was beautifully decorated with an array of clocks, each representing monumental times in Emily and Leo’s relationship—from their first date to the moment Leo proposed. It was a creative and sentimental touch that added a personal element to the celebration.

One of the highlights of the day was the fun photoshoot with the Kool-Aid Man! Hastings, the birthplace of Kool-Aid, offered a quirky and nostalgic element to the wedding photos. Emily and Leo, along with their bridal party, had a blast posing with the iconic character, creating memories and photos that will surely bring smiles for years to come.

The Reception

The reception was filled with laughter, dancing, and heartfelt toasts. The atmosphere was one of pure joy and celebration. Family and friends came together to honor the couple, sharing stories and creating new memories. My favorite part of the evening was sneaking away for sunset photos with the couple. It was the perfect time for them to relax and reflect on their wedding day, as well as capture some incredible photos!

As the sun set and the evening drew to a close, it was clear that Emily and Leo’s wedding day was nothing short of perfect. The combination of stunning venues, perfect weather, and heartfelt moments made for a day that everyone in attendance will remember fondly.

Congratulations, Emily and Leo! Thank you for allowing me to capture your special day. Here’s to a lifetime of happiness and cherished memories!
