From the moment I arrived, I could tell this was going to be a celebration to remember. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, the day felt warm, welcoming, and full of genuine joy — the perfect reflection of who they are as a couple.
Lilac Hill is such a gorgeous venue any time of year, but there’s something extra special about it in the fall. The trees were just starting to turn golden, and the crisp air gave everything that cozy autumn feel. Joanna and Eduardo leaned into the season beautifully — with rich tones, soft light, and a laid-back elegance that made every photo feel timeless.
One of my favorite parts of the day was the Mariachi band that played during the celebration. The energy was incredible! Guests sang along, danced, and smiled ear to ear as the music carried across the property. It added such a vibrant, heartfelt touch to the day and perfectly celebrated the coulpe’s heritage.
The whole evening was full of those beautiful, candid moments I love to capture — kids twirling on the dance floor, grandparents sharing hugs, friends laughing around the tables. The food was amazing, too, and it was clear that everyone was savoring both the meal and the company.
As the sun set behind the trees, the light turned golden and dreamy, wrapping the whole venue in a warm glow. Joanna and Eduardo stole a few quiet moments together for sunset portraits, and those images turned out to be some of my favorites from the day — full of love, peace, and gratitude.
