Located just outside Lincoln, Nebraska, Roca Berry Farm provided a stunning backdrop for their wedding day. From the colorful wildflowers to the open countryside views, every part of the venue complemented the vision Julia and Jacob had for their celebration.

The entire day felt like stepping into a summer garden party. Soft shades of blue, vibrant wildflowers, and natural greenery created an atmosphere that was both elegant and relaxed. Julia chose light blue dresses for her bridesmaids, which looked beautiful against the colorful floral arrangements and Nebraska summer landscape.
Wildflowers were woven throughout nearly every detail of the day. Bright blooms decorated the ceremony space, reception tables, and bouquets, adding pops of color and a whimsical touch that perfectly reflected the season.
A Handmade Veil with Meaning
One of the most special details from this Roca Berry Farm wedding was Julia’s veil. Rather than purchasing one, she chose to make it herself. She said it took her close to 50 hours!
The handmade veil added a personal touch to her bridal look and became one of the most meaningful details of the day. It flowed beautifully in the summer breeze and made for some incredibly memorable portraits. Knowing the time and care she put into creating it made it even more special as she walked down the aisle to meet Jacob.
A Ceremony Full of Emotion
As family and friends gathered to celebrate, the excitement was evident from the very beginning. The ceremony was filled with joyful smiles, happy tears, and heartfelt moments that reminded everyone why weddings are so special.

One of my favorite parts of photographing this Roca Berry Farm wedding was exploring the property for portraits. Summer at Roca Berry Farm offers gorgeous natural scenery, open skies, and beautiful evening light.
The combination of Julia’s flowing veil, the colorful wildflower details, and the warm golden sunlight created some truly stunning images. Every portrait felt romantic, natural, and uniquely reflective of their personalities.
Celebrating the Night Away
Following the ceremony, guests gathered for an evening filled with laughter, dancing, and celebration. The reception space carried the same garden-inspired feel as the rest of the day, with colorful floral accents and thoughtful details everywhere you looked.
As the sun set over the Nebraska countryside, friends and family filled the dance floor and celebrated Julia and Jacob’s new chapter together. It was the perfect ending to a wedding day that felt joyful from beginning to end.
