Trinity Church Holdrege Wedding >> I don’t even know where to begin with this wedding. I feel like I always talk about the weather on a wedding day, but for real, the weather this day was intense. Interstate 80 west of Holdrege was closed all the way into Colorado and Wyoming because of the wind. There were warnings out about opening your car door, because the wind could catch it and do some serious damage. Not only that, but it was super cold! Regardless of all that, I found a spot that was somewhat protected from the wind and we braved the cold. It was absolutely worth it for the photos we got!
Emily and Joel have such a sweet story, and I know the Lord is far from finished with them. It’s easy to see that there are great plans in store for this couple and God is going to use them to do incredible things. They both have beautiful servant hearts and combined, they will do so much! Their wedding day was truly a testament to that. Their ceremony included worship, a unity cross, and a wonderful sermon by Doug Reed. It was a perfect reflection of who they are as people.
The reception was such a fun time and it’s always so great to see all the people who love a couple celebrating together. They transformed the ag center in Holdrege to a rustic, sunflower themed wonderland. They definitely did a great job, using wildflowers and wagon wheels as accents.
If you spend any amount of time with Emily or Joel, you’ll see that they’re truly in love with one-another. The way they talk about each other, look at each other, it’s just so obvious. Its couples like this that really make me love my job!
