Rural Nebraska Wedding >> I truly don’t think I can talk about Julia and Brock’s wedding day without shedding a few tears. Every wedding day is special for so many reasons, but this one was special for one big reason. After a major accident a few years ago, it’s a miracle that Brock is here, let alone walking, standing, and carrying on like normal. It was incredible to watch and be a part of the emotions on this day. It truly felt like so much more than a wedding celebration.

I shot Julia and Brock’s engagement session last fall out on their land, and it was so neat to get to see then in their element. We hung out with their cows and had the most beautiful sunset! The wedding day felt just as special, since everything took place in locations that were dear them. This is what I love so much about small town weddings!

I met up with Julia as she was getting ready, and it was so fun to be with her and her bridesmaids! We shed a few tears as her mom and grandma helped her into her dress! Shortly after, I headed over to where Brock was getting ready to capture him putting on his tie and other finishing touches.

Their first look and following photos went off without a hitch! They even included their dogs in some pictures, which I absolutely love! Always have your dogs in your wedding pictures!

The ceremony was so special and personal. Such an emotional time for everyone! After, all the wedding party jumped in their party trailer to head out to some more rural locations for some additional photos! I loved having them show me a few more spots that were special to them before we headed off to the reception!

I loved every minute of my time with these two! Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Melton!
