Maddie and Nick had the perfect Wyoming wedding! I’ve actually dreamed of shooting a wedding exactly like this for a long time! A few years ago, I came across a photo of St Alban’s Chapel and I instantly knew I needed to photograph a wedding there. I’ve also always loved the Ivinson Mansion in Laramie, so I was absolutely thrilled to hear from Maddie and Nick! I knew this wedding would be one of my favorites

Getting ready:

I met up with Maddie that morning at her hotel, where she was just finishing up hair and makeup. I photographed her details, then she got into her dress. With the help of her bridesmaids and the cutest little flower girl, she put on the finishing touches before heading to see her groom.

Their first look:

Maddie and Nick had their first look in front of the Ivinson Mansion in Laramie. They enjoyed a few minutes together before heading off to meet up with the rest of their wedding party.

Lake Marie and St. Alban’s:

These two picked out the most beautiful location for photos! Lake Marie made for a gorgeous backdrop and the mountain wildflowers gave us just a little pop of color to accent Maddie’s bouquet. We were able to take the majority of their photos at the lake before heading to St Alban’s Chapel. The sky overlooking their ceremony was filled with big, puffy clouds which cooled off our evening and led to the slightest rain storm. I don’t think they could have asked for a better day!
