Cheyenne Methodist Church Wedding >> Emily Kowalski Photography
Jen and Josh got married on a gorgeous day in August, and it couldn’t have been better! Everything flowed together seamlessly for this couple and I’m so honored to have been a part of their day! First United Methodist Church in Cheyenne has the prettiest interior and such beautiful grounds outside. It truly made my job easy!
Getting ready:
I started off my morning as Jen got into her dress in the church parlor. Her mom helped button and zip her up while her bridesmaids assisted with jewelry. Her godmother had the chance to see her in her dress before the ceremony, which was so special for everyone! Meanwhile, downstairs, Josh and his groomsmen were passing time playing cards as they awaited the ceremony.
The ceremony:
Jen walked down the aisle as Josh saw her for the first time, and it was truly a beautiful sight. Below the stained glass window, she almost glided toward her groom. It was so sweet to watch Josh’s face! All-City Children’s Choir provided music and everything was just so personal. I love this kind of church wedding!
The reception:
Jen and Josh went to a lot of work to transform the hall inside the church to create a perfect reception space. It was absolutely amazing how they were able to take a regular church room and make it feel like the inside of an elegant tent. I’m so impressed with how their vision came to life! They utilized round tables with white cloths and blue accents. Their centerpieces were simple floating candles in round vases with flower petals and smooth river rocks. Their cake showed off their faith and love for music, with bible verses and music notes piped around the different sections. They were able to spend a lot of time just talking with their guests as they celebrated into the evening while the Jazztet band provided sweet background music.
