I have no idea how Caitlin and Alex made it through their Cheyenne engagement session without getting frostbite. I took my gloves off for maybe five minutes and couldn’t move my fingers anymore. Not only that, but they didn’t complain once about the cold! Meanwhile I was wearing three pairs of socks and two pairs of pants and I thought I was freezing! I always think I’ve tacked down exactly what to wear for these cold engagement sessions, and it seems like I’m never quite prepared enough. Someday maybe I’ll get there!
Regardless of the cold, these two pushed through and we ended up with the most beautiful photos for their Cheyenne engagement session! We got some pretty golden light and they don’t even look like they were freezing the whole time! Even though it was super windy, Vedauwoo ended up being the perfect location for their engagement session! I always love shooting here for the variety of scenery it seems you can get just by turning around. One way you see mountains, another a pile of odd shaped rocks, and a third might be a grove of aspen trees. I really feel like we got a lot of variety in Caitlin and Alex’s photos as well! It truly captures the beauty of Wyoming and why we love this state so much!
These two are so obviously in love and are perfect for one another! I absolutely loved my time with them and I loved seeing how they treat one-another with so much respect and love. They’re so fun to be with! I know their wedding is going to be gorgeous, and I’m so excited to head to Laramie later this year!
