I first met Katie when she was a bridesmaid in a wedding I shot. In fact, she caught the bouquet and Matt caught (or was given) the garter. It’s always so fun when these types of things come full circle, because now we’re getting ready for their wedding early next year!
I met up with them outside of Cheyenne at Katie’s parents house for their engagement session. We had already rescheduled once because of the weather, and even though there was potential rain in the forecast, we decided to shoot anyway. I’m so glad we did because even though we had rain for about 20 minutes, we ended up with the coolest clouds and the prettiest light!
I love the way these two treat each other. There’s just so much common respect for one-another and I really appreciate that about them. I loved spending time with them and I’m so excited for their wedding in March!
