Lilac Hill Wedding Venue >> There’s something so magical about an engagement session that takes place at the same venue where a couple will say “I do.” I had the pleasure of photographing Joanna and Ed’s engagement session at Lilac Hill in Louisville, Nebraska, which will also be their wedding venue next fall.
Lilac Hill is a breathtaking location, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect evening. The golden light at sunset painted the landscape in a warm glow, and Joanna and Ed fit right into that picture-perfect scene. The evening was one of those moments where everything just clicked — from the beautiful surroundings to the genuine connection between these two.
As we wandered around the venue, exploring all its charm, I loved getting to know Joanna and Ed better. Their laughter was contagious, and they’re such a fun, easygoing couple. Watching them interact made me excited for their wedding next year; I can already tell it will be filled with so much joy and love.
Engagement sessions like this remind me why I love what I do. Capturing the excitement and anticipation before the big day is such an honor, and doing it in such a stunning location was the icing on the cake. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding next fall and see this love story unfold further!
