Blue Haven Barn has been one of those venues I’ve been hoping to shoot at since moving to the Sioux Falls area! When Hannah and Garrett contacted me about shooting their wedding there, I jumped at the chance! Not only did Blue Haven live up to the hype, working with Hannah and Garrett made it that much sweeter!
I met up with Hannah and her bridesmaids at the venue after having their hair and makeup done at the salon. They all looked fabulous! They hung out for a while and had some food and great conversation as Hannah readied for the ceremony. Meanwhile, the guys were helping to set everything up and get ready themselves. We did photos of Hannah and Garrett separately with their parties, but soon, it was time for the ceremony.
This was another one of those days where God was watching out for us weather-wise. It had poured all morning, but the sun came out with enough time to dry everything up for the couple to have their outdoor ceremony. We did all their photos outside too! Just as dinner was starting inside, it downpoured again. And it was SO MUCH rain! After dinner, when everyone wanted to hang out outside and played yard games, the rain stopped again! We were even able to do some sunset photos!
I’m just so excited for Hannah and Garret. You can tell that these two are absolute best friends and that’s what I love so much about them! Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Howell!
